Question:
I just got giganews service through comcast, and this group is not carried by giganews ( as it was by @home) . So I use cis.dfn.se as my news server now <shrug>

You said you could still view it on your business name. Could you have deleted it from your personal one? (I assume you log on as two people at times?). It’s easy to do – refresh your groups again or do a search for alt.parenting.solutions while under the name (or account) you were using when it disappeared. Your newsgroups can’t be removed by anyone. Thanks I never did figure out the problem. Naturally I didn’t believe I could be "banned" by the newsgroup, however I was not able to locate the group using Outlook Express on THAT identity at all. So of course I was quite confused as to what the problem could have been. I brought up newsgroups and typed it in, only to find nothing. Anyway the problem is in the past, I’m here and using what I believe is an excellent newsreader (although I’ve not yet totally figured out the filtering) Xnews. — Michael Nelson Yahoo Groups: Parenting and Child Behavior http://groups.yahoo.com/group/childbehavior/ Philosophy of Human Behavior http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PhilosophyOfTheMind/

The worst part is that I’m very familar with computers, true not as much about newsgroups but I knew what to do. I just could not figure out what the hell happened? Frustrated was the key word. Dear Lord, Michael, If we had the power to individually pick and choose who is or is not allowed to post to this parenting group – no one would be left. This is usenet and I think perhaps you should read up a little on how it works. Perhaps your newsserver no longer carries this group, perhaps your ISP has some difficulties, perhaps a lot of things.
