Question:
We were just going over a presentation from "The Child Guidance Center". It basically is offering a rather nice set of encyclopedias and other books from toddler to high school years. We’re closing on a new home tomorrow, and want to watch our finances. The salesman was rather insistent that we make up our mind tonight, however that is something I never do, especially just before a big investment like this. The whole set cost over $1000. It seems like a great thing to have, but… BTW our daughter is 1 1/2 yrs. and loves books. — ***Mike***

$1000.00!!! That’s a LOT of money to spend on something you won’t need for years (if she’s only 1 1/2)! I’d spend the money on your new home; there are always things you forgot you needed when you move in. I’d buy the encyclopedias when you child goes to school in a few years. Enjoy your new home!! Holly With all the good interactive encyclopedias out there, at far less than $1000.00, I cannot understand whay anyone would buy a "book set" especially when they would need to be updated, at least once before she even started shcool! But that might explain why the salesman was so insistent. Sharon
