God heals and God saves. — Onward Christian Soldier, Steven Richards "Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward." [Isaiah 1:4] Before you buy.

This is the attitude that bothers me about religions. Now I don’t mind people believing in something. Heck, I remember my younger days and believing in Penthouse Forum. But when we just throw up our arms and say "It’s gawd’s will" or "Ask Allah" and don’t do *anything* to try to understand the problem or to try to resolve the situation, I just get *so* disappointed. — Do not underestimate your abilities. That is your boss’s job. It is your job to find ways around your boss’s roadblocks.

Thought the subject would get your attention. My dd who lives in the ghetto with her new baby and bf came to visit the other day. She told me that good ol bf is high every day and he spends most evenings next door at the neighbors smoking crack/concaine until 4am. Then he comes in and passes out on the couch. I imagine this is the reason he can’t hold down a job. He quit job number 7 I believe in the past 6 weeks. I asked her why she didn’t come home and she said she feels sorry for him. She said they have no food and has been eating crackers for the past three days. She is breastfeeding and surely that isn’t good for the baby for the mom to not be getting proper nutrition. It was Saturday when she came over and she said the baby only had 8 diapers left. I aksed her again why she just didn’t leave and she said that she really wanted to but she felt bad because she wanted to try to work things out with the baby’s Dad so he can see his son every day. She said they would be evicted soon and she said she would come home soon as she would have an excuse. Her gfs came to visit her one evening and he was nasty and rude to them and they got in an argument with him. Now the gfs are telling her to leave the jerk. I just don’t get why she is still there! Your daughter need to have her baby taken from her as she is not eating properly enough to nourish that poor little thing. If your daughter thinks for a minute she is doing that baby any favors she is dead wrong…it is obvious that the father could care less about that baby because he doesn’t have a job and he is out smoking crack until four in the morning…Your daughter needs to grow up real quick before someone on the state level sees what she is not doing to take care of her baby…or worse yet the baby could get very ill because it isn’t getting the proper nutrition…there is no reason why a baby should be mal nutritioned. I had a friend that was in a similar situation a couple years ago. I’d known her since kindergarten and we even sat in the same seat on the bus. Well, her baby died at 7 mos old (in her sleep). It wasn’t anything my friend did. Well, she had confided in me before her baby was born, that her bf beat her sometimes. She lived in the same environment, same problems. She broke up with that boyfriend and tried to get her life in order. Her new boyfriend’s break line was cut and he ended up in the hospital. Three days later, they found her body in her apartment. She was stripped naked and stabbed in the throat. No arrests were ever made. Just thought I’d share that with you, that perhaps it’s not "feeling bad" that maybe it’s fear. Has he ever hit or threatened her? Why not tell her to come spend a week or two at home with you. Make it seem like you need her help with something.
