My oldest daughter was diagnosed with developmental dyspraxia 4 years ago and has been in physical therapy since then. There are several names for this disorder: sensory integration disorder, "clumsy child" disorder, etc. I did a quick search on Alta-Vista under "Developmental Dyspraxia" and found 66 sites that could help. Here are a few that may help you on your way: For information on it go to: http://www.letmelearn.org/intl/l_addy_text.htm http://www.inclusive.co.uk/support/dyspraxi.htm For a list of books to read up on it go to: http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/2538/READPA.HTM Hope this helps and good luck. Dyspraxia is also commonly (and incorrectly) referred to as apraxia . . .when I was getting my Speech Pathology degree, all of my texts referred to it as APRAXIA ("a" meaning a total lack of , as opposed to "dys" , meaning a malfunctioning of, the muscle control needed for the speech organs). When you do your research, check under both . . . I’m assuming you have him enrolled in some type of therapy . . . hopefully, with treatment, this will work it’s course. Best of luck!! Isa If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos…then you probably haven’t completely understood the situation.

Thy Pediatric Points of Interest. it is a website run by Johns Hopkins Medical Center, and it has links to every child health issue immaginable. I’m really impressed with this site. Other people might want to bookmark it too.
