Question:
Use Ivory soap and corn sryup. With my students at school, I mix a medium size bottle of Ivory soap and about 1/4 to 1/2 bottle of corn sryup in a 2 gallon bucket of warm water and stir. The corn sryup is a lot cheaper. You can make larger bubble wands out of straws or pipe cleaners. Good luck and have fun with the bubbles!
Response:
i seem to remember that a good solution has glycerine and other stuff in it. Alex (7) wants to build a bubble so big he might fit in it….. if you know of this please email me thanks

Piece of cake… 1 gallon (4 litres) of cold clear water 1/4 cup of dishwashing liquid (Joy works best, believe it or not) 1 tablespoon of glycerin (optional, but this helps the bubbles last longer!) A great bubble blower – for huge bubbles – a stick, 3 feet long or so. On the end of it, tie a loop of cloth (rip a strip of bedsheet about 2-3 inches wide, and 6 feet long, join the ends to the stick with a thumb tack or nail. Dip the whole whack of cloth in the mixture (don’t swirl or splash, foam in the mixture hinders bubble-making). Lift it out with the stick. Grab one side of the cloth loop with your free hand and open it up. Let the breeze blow through it, or GENTLY walk with it (you’ll get the hang of it!) and the hugest bubbles imaginable will soon be attacking your neighbourhood.
