I agree. There is nothing left when the love and respect are not there anymore. I agree. It is hard to live with an abusive person. I agree. You can’t change someone who doesn’t want to change nor can you ASK for him to change. With those things, I agree, but I won’t pretend to know what you should be doing. Each of us live these situations differently. For each of us, a different solution will work and another won’t. All I can say is that sometimes, it is worth working on things. All I can say is that somewhere, deep deep inside you, is the solution to your problem. You know what is the right thing to do. Listen to your inner voice, it’s there to guide you, and don’t let any outside factor distract you from your goal… If the voice says leave him, gather your courage and do it… If it says work on it, so be it!
