Need help with picky eater

Question:

>HI,

Toddlers’ appetites get smaller as they are not growing so fast as when they are babies. Also they have a lot of new things to deal with in the world so they can get pretty rigid for a while about the things they do have control over, and they often only like a few things for months on end. It would bore adults silly but toddlers don’t seem to mine. There is good information about feeding toddlers on www.cyh.sa.gov.au in the Parenting/child health section. All the best. Pam>

HI, I don’t know if this topic has been covered recent but I will post my question anyway.  If this topic has been discuss , I would appreciate if someone could direct my to the newsgroup archive. I have 18 1/2 month old son would refuses to try anything new.  It is starting to get really frustrating because he has decided that he doesn’t like mashed up peas anymore.  Does anyone have any ideas how to get my picky eater to try new food? Sandra
