I recall a good laugh I had watching DH changing a particularly nasty diaper … He somehow got poop EVERYWHERE (his shirt, his pants, the coffee table the carpet)… and was asking me to help … unfortunately, I was incapacitated with laughter … the kind that brings tears … and couldn’t help him much. I think I’m getting the hang of it. It’s only been 3 days and I’ve been peed on, pooped on, and spit up on. There was a time in my life that I was repulsed by such thoughts. Now I just laugh. Brian, the one thing I admire about your posts here is that you have always understood that you were coming into this new and had a lot to learn. But don’t denigrate your own already truthful knowledge of the world..
