I know where Erikc is coming from as far as bashing on Max. In another newsgroup we’ve both participated in, debating with trolls is pretty much the standard fare. However, this time around (for myself) I’ve decided not to bother with the likes of Max and his many sad incarnations. The best advice to everyone is to killfile any/all trolls immediately and save yourself the time and trouble of dealing with them. For those of you like Susan who have to pay them that they’re costing you money and you’ll contact their next-tier provider if necessary to complain. But, don’t waste time and effort battling them. It’s just not worth it, and they enjoy the attention too much, even when it’s negative…
