seeking resource information for quadriplegic expectant mother. do you know of her rights, resources, assistance available to this first time mom to be and her husband? dad works, mom needs help after the birth of baby.

TRANSLATION: question:   I’m looking for information on how to be a better parent; that’s why I came to this newsgroup. answer:  It’s not my problem if your parenting skills suck. IMHO, I found the above actual post to be totally unnecessary.  If it’s "not your problem", then whe even bother with this newsgroup, and why respond to the post? DM

That’s harsh!  nobody can raise a child entirely by him/herself.  Everyone needs help one way or another.  Everybody pays school taxes for YOUR kids to attend public school! I don’t know where to get help for quadraplegic moms but try the SCI ( spinal cord injury) association or the paraplegic association.  they can probably help. There are also some products that should help, like a crib that opens in the front instead of from the top. Good luck, Anne dupont
