Some nice people have sent me verses seemingly to help her remember TO tie her shoes.   I’m looking for something where the words are about making a loop and wrapping around, etc.  When I was a kid, my mom had some deal about a bunny and a playmate in a cave, but neither of us can remember it.   Please if you’re suppressing memories, open up and share.   – Ron Low Levity is the dearth of gravity.  Brevity is the height of clarity.   non-commercial e-mail always welcome

You know, I’m 38, I never learned the other way, and my sneakers still don’t stay tied!!! I will have to learn the other way before I teach my daughter. — If this looks funny I’m                 typing with the baby on my lap!

I learned by making two loops and tying the loops together in a knot. I learned the other way later, but this "simplified" tying helped me along the way. -Kay-

My husband used ‘one, two, around and through’ which matches each of the four steps – first tie, circle left lace, wrap right lace around, and push loop through. k

I learned this way too. The two loops were called ‘bunny ears’ and then the bunny goes into the rabbit hole (when you fold one loop under).
