Exactly when did you discover usenet? I’m betting it hasn’t been very long. If you knew anything about searches, you could do a lot better research than that and would know that we are not the same person at all, and that neither of us are trolls. As for my lack of posts…. I’ve been reading this group for over 5 years. I just don’t post very often. > You pity me? > 17 and a half and a baby now? > That’s a long gap between children wouldn’t you say? > Save your pity for yourself, sounds like you need it. > consider yourself killfiled > wc2, getting ready for Christmas
I would guess that with this, you’ve secured a place in the killfiles of most of the regular posters here. Kim

Consider yourself killfiled also. I cannot believe that you think you know everything about this newsgroup with only reading a week’s worth of posts. There is alot of flaming done in this group and it would not surprise me if there are only a handful of people who read and a few less than that who respond on a regular basis. How can you judge two people that you do not even know? Maybe you should post in another newsgroup to find the consensus that you are seeking. Jo

I think it’s clear who was spoiling for a fight, here. You attacked the second I told you something you didn’t care to hear. > I’ve read through every thread in this NG from 11-20-01 > to now and you barley appear.
APS isn’t a group I post to regularly, as there aren’t very many "parenting" questions posed here. But I have been a long-standing regular, having posted here for well over a year. You could find this information out if you had bothered to do a google search on me, although I did post through deja previously, as well as another isp. I’ll be more than happy to supply you with that addy so you can see for yourself. It is a holiday week, I do have a life separate from the computer, and I post regularly to another group, as well. I suggest you do some research before you make a such a statement. > That smacks of troll to me.
Being new to usenet, it would make sense you’d jump to that conclusion. > The fact that Kim appears even less than you smacks that > you and Kim use the same toothbrush, if you even bother… > I bet trolling keeps you busy and sometimes you forget.
I have no need to troll anywhere. > You pity me? > 17 and a half and a baby now?
Yep. It’s amazing to have a child later in life, when you thought you would never have any more children. > That’s a long gap between children wouldn’t you say?
Numbers-wise… probably so. Age wise… well, I’ll just say my daughter keeps me young. > Save your pity for yourself, sounds like you need it.
I’m ecstatically happy with both of my children, so I fail to see where pity would come into necessity. — If quitters never win and winners never quit, what fool came up with, "Quit while you’re ahead"?! ~Nan~<– keep the hug n’ kiss & mail me

I didn’t want or need anyone’s permission to do anything with my baby. As I’ve stated several times a general consensus was what I was hoping for…And I honestly believe that most of you are positive, intelligent, helpful people and I thank you for your feed back. As for this person who has twisted her own posts and back peddled…You pity me? You don’t know the first thing about me. You know my baby who I love more than life naps during the day on her belly. You know I’m aware of SIDS and have concerns. You know I was curious about how the members of this NG put their babies down. And that’s all you know. Maybe you’ve figured out that I brook no nonsense from people like you who are spoiling for a fight. I’ve read through every thread in this NG from 11-20-01 to now and you barley appear. That smacks of troll to me. The fact that Kim appears even less than you smacks that you and Kim use the same toothbrush, if you even bother… I bet trolling keeps you busy and sometimes you forget. You pity me? 17 and a half and a baby now? That’s a long gap between children wouldn’t you say? Save your pity for yourself, sounds like you need it. consider yourself killfiled wc2, getting ready for Christmas

You appear to be very new to UseNet. Your castigation of regulars of the ng for posting infrequently, after reviewing a scant week’s worth of posts [during a holiday season no less], suggests that is a correct supposition. On UseNet you need to develop a thick skin very quickly as there are many who take one’s words and go places you had no intention of going, among other things. You might consider that those who responded to you just might be the people posting to aps who are those who are more likely to talk about concerns such as you raised rather than terrorism or diving into the moth*r hic*ey crossposted trolling efforts. If you have read everything for the last week you have missed a great deal. The usual recommendation is that one reads [lurks] on an ng for a month [at least] prior to posting in order to learn about the group, the acceptable posting styles, etc. If you have not already read the FAQ for aps I suggest you do so. -Aula
