It’s a little hard to get a girl to give a proper blowjob if she doesn’t want to, especially in a school building furing school hours. I think she wanted to. > The use of the words "attack" and "coerced" were used to describe this > voluntary activity > Please read what they said of the first child, "The 11-year-old somehow got > the girl to leave the classroom and > go to a foyer area, where she agreed to have sex, police said." > You must be projecting some unmet need to have had some little girl > VOLUNTEER to have sex with you when you were in grade school.

Sure, when I was in grade school I wanted that, just as everyone did. Better simply to leave them the fuck alone andlet them do what they do in the woods or the park anyway. They should be told to keep it out of the school to keep the prudes from whining and that’s it. Steve

It’s a VERY antisexual statement. You should be ashamed of agreeing to it. This officious antisexuality is dishonoring of children’s sexual desires. The firs boy and girl should be told not to burden the school with it in this idiotic social climate and be told to take it elsewhere. No police should be involved with the first couple anyway. It’s destructive. If the girl wants to press charges for rape on the other two she should be helped to do so. Steve

Response:

It is funny that not one person picked up on this part of the article, "The attacks happened Monday after the boys’ sixth-grade class was combined with the girl’s fourth-grade class when the teacher for the older students was absent, police spokeswoman Cheryl Cox said." Rather than preaching about how kids should have a place to have sex which is far from what this article is about it would seem someone would be interested that the kids were not harmed by well meaning people’s  interventions and that the whole issue of proper supervision of children in school would have been raised.  I would expected some age difference discussions of this as it was a 4th grade girl and 6th grade boys.  In my area the boys would have been in a middle school while the girl would have been in a elementary school.  To me this small age difference is rather large knowing what my kids were like at those ages. I guess thinking of little kids having sex clouded everyone’s brain. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> >        NEW YORK (AP) — A 9-year-old girl was raped by two 12-year-old > >classmates in a school stairwell hours after she was coerced > "coerced" > into > >having sex in the same area by an 11-year-old boy, police said. > >        The 11-year-old has been charged with sodomy while the two older > >boys face rape and sodomy charges. > >        The attacks happened Monday after the boys’ sixth-grade class > >was combined with the girl’s fourth-grade class when the teacher > >for the older students was absent, police spokeswoman Cheryl Cox > >said. > >        Margie Feinberg, a Board of Education spokeswoman, said the > >classes were combined because the school did not have enough time > >to get a substitute teacher. > >        The 11-year-old somehow got the girl to leave the classroom and > >go to a foyer area, where she agreed > "agreed" >to have sex, police said. I hope this doesn’t suggest that the percentage of little girls who "didn’t want to be raped" was less than 100%, or that someone who didn’t use this special procedure was inviting sexual activity. What’s novel is that in one place she agreed to have sex and in another place in the article she was coerced. Response:

> so the sodomy and rape of a nine year old is nothing more than children > engaging in sex play???

First of all, "Sodomy" is simply a term which describes anything other than standard penile/vaginal intercourse between one male and one female.   It covers everything from blowjobs to sex with livestock. If the rape charges against the 2 12 year olds are substantiated, then that is a serious matter, and not sex play. However, the first boy is not charged with rape, and the use of antiquated sodomy laws, which are a throwback to the dark ages, to create legal problems for him, is inappropriate. Especially in light of the fact that almost all sex-positive sex education programs encourage "outercourse", "alternatives to intercourse", and other euphemisms for non-intercourse ways of expressing affection for younger kids who choose to be sexually active. Since intercourse doesn’t usually become the most common form of sexual expression til the middle to late teens, the last thing we need to be doing is calling other forms of sexual expression by kids using emotionally-loaded terms like "sodomy." > My concern, is where did the boys learn this behavior? Obviously they > had to have learned about sodomy somewhere, because most children see > the rectum as a place where waste comes from, not a place to f*ck..

I doubt we’re talking about the rectum here.  Of course, the press is not going to ever say precisely what the kids did, because they would rather the public imagine something far worse that what actually happened. > So my concern is for that girl, but also, where these boys learned that > from..  And why would their "sex play" be done in school??

Kids spend a huge amount of time in school.  It is hardly surprising that most of their socialization would occur there, expecially if they live in poorer neighborhoods without many recreational resources, or where it isn’t safe for them to venture outdoors. You seem to be parroting the usual victimologist nonsense that minors have no natural interest in sexual expression unless they have been "sexualized" by an adult pervert. > There is something seriously wrong when kids not only have to worry about > adults hurting them, but now also worry about other kids hurting them..

Kids shouldn’t have to worry about anyone hurting them.  That doesn’t mean we need to redefine the occasional sexual liason with a peer as "abuse" or "sodomy." This case is complicated by the fact that the girl was allegedly raped after agreeing to have sex with someone else earlier.  This kind of smears the first boy with the actions of the second and third. It would be a grave miscarriage of justice if the first boy finds himself on a sex offender registry for the rest of his life at age 11, simply because he decided to engage in some exploration with another child in an unsupervised stairwell. — Eric Michael Cordian 0+ O:.T:.O:. Learn to read.  The article clearly said that the girl left with the first boy and voluntarily engaged in some sort of sexual activity. The use of the words "attack" and "coerced" were used to describe this voluntary activity by the author of the article, in direct contradiction to the account he had just related.
