Question:
HI, I have a 9mo. who has been a cat napper since she was 5mo. old. She only takes 20-40min nap maybe three time a day and that when I make her go. They say it’s the activity level (Doctors, articles in parenting etc.) they don’t want to miss out on what’s going on. As long as you baby is sleepingat least 11hrs in 24hrs. I here this is okay. You’re lucky yours sleeps through the night, my little girl has woken up 3-4x night since she was 3mo. I recently had to start letting her cry a bit so she would just fall back to sleep on her own. She doesn’t really cry, just whines and only for 10min. tops otherwise is she was crying I’d probably go in because that means something else is wrong. So far so good. Good Luck with yours. Response:
Possibly teething? My son got his first two teeth right when he turned 4 months old, so it wouldn’t be too early to have teething pain. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->My four month old baby girl has no problem sleeping through the night >(whew!). My four month old baby girl has no problem sleeping through the night (whew!). She does, however, not sleep very well in the afternoon. The technique I was previously using with her (and am still using) used to work out to about 2 hours per nap. These naps have dropped consistently and abruptly to about 45 minutes, and my little honey wakes up CRYING. I have checked for all environmental factors I can think of, and colic isn’t really a problem. She had her vaccinations about 3 weeks ago. Is there a correlation here? I was told vaccine reactivity was no more than two weeks. Any help would be appreciated because this concerns me. My books give varying information. Thanks, Patty
